Pluss supported Hayley to achieve accredited pre-NVQ work skills training to develop skills. This was further established by Hayley undertaking work experiences to put the acquired skills and knowledge in to practice.
Hayley undertook a placement at Royal Mail where she built up her skills and confidence in her abilitiesl. Paid work didn’t happen at this stage, but not to be put off, Hayley spent time with her Employment Consultant, Gez, looking at her skills, aspirations and areas for improvement. Hayley gained a work experience in 2009, working for Plymouth City Council (PCC) in the First Stop Customer Services Team, as an adviser.
A Pluss job coahc supported Hayley and Plymouth City Council to help develop Hayley’s skills to the standard required.

As a result, Plymouth City Council have just offered Hayley 16 hours paid employment as a Customer Services Adviser.
